I have a Dalhua model DHI-XVR5108HS in my football indoor club.
2 questions please:
1. The native format is DAV. Is it possible to make recording directly in MP4 format?
Actually I send all videos in .DAV format to an Ubuntu server, and I have to convert the video with ffmeg to MP4 to reduce the size.
2. record triggering
the customer connect to the web site and from the calendar, books the date and hour for the match and the camera associated with the (football field) there is 16 camera, 2 per field.
After the match, he can stream the video remotely from the web server.
I want to make a trigger and execute remotly the recording.
I think the better solution is to use API.
is it possible with this model ?
in your opinion what is the better solution to lauch remotly the recording based on inputs entered by the customer in the website calendar ?
