Random crashing

I am on 4.0.5.0 x64 version and the last 2 days BI has crashed, has anyone else been seeing this? If not, it might be my setup. I recently removed BI v3 from my system, wondering if some shared files were removed.

I too have been plagued with this a lot in the past couple weeks. Here is a sample from my event log:

I would email support with the crash info...also note the version 4060 indicates some bug fixes so maybe that will help..
The 3 systems I have running 4050 have been rock solid...as I upgrade the rest of my v3 machines the sample size will be better, but the OP and your post are the only ones ive seen with this issue..

I just upgraded to 4.0.6.0, so i'll monitor it closely to see if it happens again. Its been very unstable since about 2 or 3 versions ago and I should note that I'm using the 64 bit version (I've seen a few other posts talking about crashing with the 64 bit version, specifically). Are you running the 64 bit app on yours?

Yes, 64 bit..are the posts you are seeing recent? (there were lots of posts when v4 was released back in Dec/Jan...)

alright, well, thanks for the advice, but I guess I'll just continue to monitor my system with 4.0.6.0 installed.

Ok, if it crashes again, you should send the error to support...he cant fix what he doesnt know about.

I've still been getting repeated crashes, about 5 more since my posting a few days ago all with a similar signature:

@ataulfoAre you running antivirus? if so which one? Make sure blueiris.exe is excluded from the scans..
Are your clips going to the recycle bin? if so stop..and empty the bin.
You might also try updating to .7 that was released today..

BTW, I do recall now that these crashes started to happen around the same time as when I switched over to iPhone from Android. At the time I had to allow blueirisapplepush through the firewall for push notifications to work -- I doubt this is related, but I thought I'd mention it anyways.

You might try not logging in via the mobile app and see if the crashes stop...

i login with the mobile app all the time - this crash is completely random and happens at least once per day at random times. I'm recording to BVR. Have not tried a re-install yet, will try that if I see another crash with 4.0.0.7. Thanks for all your help thus far.
