    Hi everyone,

Living in the great PNW... had a Lorex system and now moving to a POE camera setup with lots more freedom and future proofing using a NAS. Been doing the research but decided I should join and participate more. Looking forward to learning more about how to get the best out of my system and hope I will eventually be able to assist others.

    Welcome to IPCT! :welcome:

As others have said above, please read the Wiki found at the top of this page, pay. special attention to its Cliff Notes.

You'll learn about camera choices that can help mitigate issues with insects that LOVE the IR lighting at night.
