reinstall windows on BI box

    I have emailed BI about this a week ago and still haven't gotten a response (even though my maintenance is current which is discouraging).

    I need to wipe the C drive on my BI host and completely re-install windows due to an issue with NIC's after win10 updated to 1809. I have the BI app installed on C, the clip index on C but all the storage from the cameras on D. What do I need to save off C for BI to be able to re-import my clip library and setting back into BI after the re-install?

    nm, BI finally responded to the original ticket.

    if anyone in the future need to know they config if kept in the registry at HKLM\Software\Perspective Software

    you dont need to do mess with the registry, all you need to do is perform an export from the about tab.

    sorry, didn't include the part that I couldn't open BI due to it saying it was unlicensed and demo expired....

    reg backup and restore worked though on a brand new install
