Hi,

Trying for the first time to access a camera via the web.

I have working IP Cameras on my LAN but would like to have remote access.
Tried port forwarding on my Telstra f@st5355 NBN router with no luck.

When using an open port check tool it always shows port NOT open.

Attempted changing port configuration in IP camera to number 3333 instead of internal port 80 and matching the setting in the router with no luck.

Any ideas?
Google hasn't given me any answers.

Wondering if anyone has done this with the Telstra supplied routers?

If this is a mobile/lte type router you will not be able to use port forwarding because they dont give you an externally routeable ip...you wouldnt want to anyways as that would expose your camera to being hacked.
Look at hamachi vpn or if you cant get that working ngrok - secure introspectable tunnels to localhost
