Revert Camera Settings?

I am setting up a new BI machine. As I customize BI & camera settings is there a way to take a snapshot so if I goof something up I can just revert the changes? Kind of like a virtual machine snapshot? I saw the BI Update Manager, does that work in that manner or is it just for software updates?

In BI You can either:
A- Export settings from BI.
B-Delele cam from BI, start over.
C-Read BI help file, and don't changes settings until you understand what settings do.

Camera's settings.
A-Export settings
B-Reset Camera to factory defaults and start over.
