I want to set my Blue Iris profile to "away from home" when I leave the house. Since it seems that the Blue Iris geofencing feature isn't terribly reliable, I'd like to create a Tasker profile on my Android phone to do this. Has anyone done this? How would I do it? (i.e.having created the Android profile, how do I create a task to set a specific profile in Blue Iris?

I used to have something like this setup where tasker would change profiles. I know I used http push but fortunately I don't remember exactly how I did it. i would go about it something like this if tasker sees my phone is on home wifi http push profile 1 which is home . Once tasker sees Im off home wifi http push 2 which is away. I think I did it something like that. Look in tasker you will see wifi, that's the easy part I'm sure the http push will be a pain and I'm not sure you can use it if your cameras are hd with two streams . I'll look into this

Try it in another browser also did you change the port ?
I didn't change the port from the default (81).

If I try the same URL in Firefox I get:
"You are about to login to the site 192.168.1.4 with the username {myusername}, but the website does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you. Is 192.168.1.4 the site you want to visit?"

If I click "Yes" I get taken to the login form (and the BI profile remains unchanged)

If I try the Chrome browser I get taken directly to the BI login page.
