first off i love blue iris best cam software even better than our exacq software other then it has AD and HTTPS. I work in the IT world and at our corporate office we have in line taps that monitor our network and see everything coming in or going out. i tested to see if logging on to my BI server would capture my user name and password. as an http site i assumed it would would and guess what it did plan as day our networking monitoring company had my ip , user name and password . i have tried stunnel but never got it working.

i guess what im getting at is has anyone had any luck setting up stunnel and built in ssl support to blue iris would be the awesome.

any one else concerned about this?

Blueiris does not pass your credentials in plain text unless you uncheck secure only in the web server tab.
There is a thread on stunnel and how to get it working...
The most secure option is to use a VPN
