I know this is a Ford/Chevy debate and as time goes on different companies will jump out ahead of each other, but I (late to the game) just saw some sample pics and videos from the Hikvision ColorVu cameras, which look pretty outstanding. Starlight was what pulled me to Dahua and I have yet to see any direct comparisons or discussions despite some decent (although not extremely extensive) searching. I guess my question is, is this a big shift in the market of the better brand to go with? I obviously don't want to drop what I have but it opens up questions to cross-brand compatibility and what to recommend to the in-laws for their potential new system.
