Storage Question: (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

I have a 1 camera setup just the IPC-HDW5231R-Z
Currently Save everything to inbuilt SD Card and get email snapshots of events.
This is good for a 2 days recording. Which is normally sufficient
What do you recommend for a quick/cheap way to record for 10 days.
I'm thinking maybe utilising existing laptop and external hardrive as storage?

Use SmartPSS, it can be setup to record to your hard drive and act as an NVR.
