Using the Sub Stream Guide at Wiki I am not able to find the substring I am supposed to use for my Amcrest IP8M-2496 camera in the substring parameters in Blue Iris. Any help would be appreciated

Thank you

I'm ok
/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype-0&unicast=true&proto=unvif
Try this for main channel, if it works change for second stream.
Hope I typed that right, could not copy and paste.

You could probably add it exactly as if it was a Dahua (as in the screenshot in the sub stream guide).

@Old Timer The only typo I see is "unvif" where it should say "onvif"

Surprise, I logged in with my phone and typed the string in.

So if I understand you correctly just copy the mainstream /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype-0&unicast=true&proto=unvif into the substream? Do I leave the mainstream string there too or delete it?

Just make that subtype=1 and not subtype-1

Leave the main stream since BI will record in full resolution and display full resolution when viewing that camera, or any other configured with a substream, in a single camera view.

Do it exactly as described in the Sub Stream Guide for a Dahua camera. Keep the main stream configured.

(Amcrest cameras are mostly/all made by Dahua)

I made a typo there, here it is fixed
Main stream;
/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=onvif

Then for second stream you change the subtype=1
Or for the third string you change the subtype=2
Like the others said, use the sub stream guide to explain the sub channel

I left the main substream as is and copied the substring from the Dahua as posted Wiki as instructed to no avail. I says - RSTP: 404 Not Found.
I am using a Amcrest 4k 8meg camera. Model IP8M-2496

Did you use my corrected string? This is what I am using on my IP8M-2496

/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=onvif

Did you enable a substream on the camera itself?

This is my settings. I have a couple things you left off, try setting it just like this.
I have 26 cameras from 960 up to 4K and running 18-22% CPU i5-8500 @3.0Ghz on this machine.
