Suggestion needed on swiftness of motion detection feature on cp plus 1 MP cam

Hello all

I have a CP Plus 1MP IP cam.Works fine.Wanted to know how sensitive is motion detection,as i am concern may it not miss any usual data that has to be captured

Welcome Arunesh,

I do not know much about that camera nor it's motion detection, wanted to encourage you to checkout some of the notes we have been making here.

In general, motion detection with IP cams tends to false positive (e.g. record when there is no actual intruder) vs. false negative (miss things). For the most part, the field "is not there yet" with regard to accurate motion detection with no false alarms. I suspect that we will get there in 18 months to two years, but for right now, even flying bugs will set most units off.
