Has a nice google map overlay and you can center it right on your house/camera when zoomed in to see if the sun is giong to rise or set within your FOV (just drag the marker).. that yellow area is the whole year range and you can put in dates.. Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year with the lowest sun, just happened on the 22nd Dec 2016.

Right now is a good time of the year to install a camera facing south since the sun is so low, as its only getting higher from here until summer solstice.. but if your trying to figure out your FOV's its probably best to try to avoid the sun directly within view whenever possible and this can help alot, espically when you compare your FOV with the google map @ Camera Calculator / Design Software

Most of the time when you install a south facing camera in the summer it ends up being re-adjusted come winter and the sun starts creeping into frame and blinding it, and potentially damaging it.. You cant rely on shade from deciduous trees in the winter.

@nayr thanks for sharing that. I agree with you about the value of avoiding direct sunlight and the value of seeing that on a map. I've added that to the list of future feature enhancements for our calculator. thanks!
