I have a 3 year old unit which until a couple of weeks back was working fine. It is now stuck with a NVR splash screen and a swann logo stuck on the bottom right hand corner.
Problem started when the recorder was not seeing 2 of the cameras. I decided to reboot it in the correct way and that was the start of my problems .
Swann technical are referring me to a CCTV specialist. So I thought I'd give you guys a try to may be steer me in the right direction.
The unit shows a green power light and that's about it.
I disconnected the cameras as well and try booting however no luck.
Hope you can help to resurrect this £800 tin box.
Thanks in advance.

Hi all.
So I've downloaded the tftp program thanks to other members. I've download the swann firmware for nvr4-7200 from swann website. I've put the firmware on root directoy as suggested.
I linked the laptop with the NVR using cross over cable. Ive change the laptop IP address to 192.0.0.128.
Started the tftp program and turned on the NVR. Nothing's happening what am I doing wrong. :idk:

Thanks Fenderman for your input also forgive my computer ignorance i'll try with a straight cable.
A niggleing thing i noticed is that the digicap.mav file has a shortcut symbol on the icon on it i didn't expect that.
it was a file i extracted from swann website.
