Take pic if it detects a person

I have a Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P - which has ANPR facility - which is working well. I would like my camera to take a pic and FTP the pic to a server when it detects a person. Is this what intruder detection does? I enabled introduer detection but this seems to take a pic when it detects a movement - any type of movement. I would only like it to take a pic if it thinks its a person. Is this possible?

That camera does not have this capability. Some cameras have "human/person detection". Your camera has intrusion detection, not intruder detection.

Many thanks for quick response. Can you recommend any Hikvisions that have this functionality> Not to worry if you cant - i will have agoogle around. But just thought I would check if any came recommended

I love my DS-2CD7A26G0-IZHS8. Keep in mind tho you can only have one smart function on and active at a time such as road detection or intrusion detection.
