This one is aimed at you guys over in the States. It's just for my interest sake nothing ulterior but are you required to be licensed in any sort of trade to carry out installation and maintenance of surveillance equipment? Down here in Australia you'll generally need to be an electrician or registered cabler and have a separate security certification/license although this isn't really policed very well and there's nothing stopping any old hack getting their ticket as a registered cabler and start installing equipment.
