My Set up

1 - Hikvison XC 7608 NI E2 /8P NVR firmware 3.3.4 build 150616 ( USA ) NVR IP 192.168.01 / IPV gateway 192.168.0.1

3 - Hikvision DS 2CD263F-1 cameras firmware 5.2.0 build 140721 ( USA ) 192.168.254.X

1 - Trendnet TV IP310PI -- same as Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I ( or so I have researched ). The Trendent firmware was 5.3.4, tried to downgrade via whoislooking downgrade package, but it never does the final reboot.

I Managed to flash the camera to Hikvision 5.4.5 build 70123. SADP software ( version 3.0.0.10 build 20170119 ) sees the camera, and activates it. I set the IP of the Trendnet camera to 192.168.254.2 port 8000 with webport of 80, IPv4 Gateway of 192.168.0.1 and let SADP update. My NVR sees the IP, but will not add ( am trying this via webbrowser and not direct management to the nvr ), iMVS also sees the camera as active, but cannot add it, so it's offline. I Get Abnormal network for the status, the camera will not add manually under ONVIF.

I ran wire shark to see the IP, and it's set to 192.168.254.2 and looks for 192.168.0.1 when powered up.

Could it be a firmware issue with respect to the NVR and other cameras with and older version, and the Trendnet with a newer flashed Hivision firmware that prevents the camera from being added?

UPDATE : Got it working , fromwhat I can figure, adding the camera via plug in play either had issues with the passoword ( since the new password could not be the default password on other cameras since it was too weak and firmware was above 5.30 ), so I had to manually add the cameras with the new strong password, and several reboots of the NVR it finally came online. What was interesting was the IP kept changing, even though I fixed it on the camera, I would keep changing it back, save and reboot. Next time I'll just buy a Hikvision camera and save all the flashing / adding headaches. :)
