Hi Guys,

Wondering if anyone can help me out I'm trying to setup iSpy to connect to my TrendNet NVR however can not find the correct URL for Streaming.

Looking to stream channel 1 and 2, I've tried a few URL such as below, firewall is all configured to allow access to the ports.

rstp://username:passworld@url:554/Streaming/channels/101

Thank You

You should be able to verify the RTSP URL by checking it with VLC - 'Open Network Stream'.
And if the NVR supports ONVIF, the very good Windows open-source tool 'ONVIF Device Manager' from sourceforge.net will list the streams offered by the NVR on the 'Transmitters' page in the NVT section.

Hi,

I cant connect to the stream using VLC either, unfortunately when I try the ONVIF Device Manager I get an error even tho the NVR is ONVIF.

I managed to get an iPhone App called IP Cam Viewer to connect to the NVR using a present profile for Hikvison 72xx Series however the app doesn't list the RTSP or HTTP URL :/ If anyone has experience with 7200 Series and knows the URL that may be helpful :)

What is the nature of the error?
Is it a login error due to incorrect username/password?

From the user manual:
To access the video through NVR, you need to enter the IP address, port number and leading path "/Streaming/Channels" then specify the channel number. The channel number is 2 digits leading with zero. For example: rtsp://192.168.10.60:554/Streaming/Channels/01 to view the channel 1 video on TV-NVR104 which located on 192.168.10.60.

Presumably that's your router LAN address.

From VLC on your LAN?
That's the first thing to prove out, before moving on and trying anything more complicated.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the delay in response, used wireshark to figure out the correct URL and now have iSpy running :)

rtsp://IP:554/RSIA/Streaming/Channels/101
