Hi,

I have a Dahua camera & in the video settings i have it set for:

H264H
Smart codec off
1080 res
FPS 15
CBR
4096
Iframe - 15 (range is 15-150)
SVC off

I am playing with the frame rate & it seems like the best I can do is any FPS but the key seems to stay around 5.5-6.

Any suggestions on what to try?

Thanks,
Rich

please provide a video, use youtube and post a link.
Try setting the camera to VBR.
How are you looking at the camera output, or are you recording it, then playing it back.
What model dahua camera ?

Hi,

Exposure:

Profile Day
ANtiflicker - outdoor
mode auto
exposure is in the middle
ae recovery 15 min
2dNR on
Grade middle
3DNR On
Grade middle

I am looking at the BI status tab which is showing 20FPS (what i set it at now) and key of 6.36
The model is Dahua: SD50225U-HNI PTZ starlight

The picture looks a little fuzzy when viewing directly from the camera, BI, and Geovision. It looks 'fuzzy' to me.

Thanks,
Rich

It looks good at full zoom out. I feel like it looked better at the camera defaults & when I changed FPS & iframe it started looking 'crappier'.

I set it to 30FPS & it is currently 30fps / 6.5(ish) Key
