This was taking place as the storm was starting to hit South Florida and most people were evacuating. Our team observed the smoke coming out of the tractor's hood and called Miami F.D. Once the fire was put out, the owners of the dealership called us and wanted to know if someone had broke into the lot and set the truck on fire. They never would have guessed that the truck just started on fire by itself. The white tractor was in the service department for four days and hadn't been touched yet. It was there for a factory recall on a module that may start on fire, ironic.

Amazing vid. It amazes me how much stuff there is that appears to burn very well on a vehicle. Enough so that it looked like the one next to it caught as well.

Wow, great stuff as usual, @bababouy. That flatbed parked at the entrance gate to deter gate busters slowed the FD down only a little. Good thing it was parked at a slant...and the boxwoods or privet hedge got a raw deal when the FD truck ran over them to get around that flatbed. Those bushes can be replaced for only a few $$$, time is critical when a fire like that can spread so quickly from BIG-dollar tractor to BIG-dollar tractor, etc.
Likely the FD had to cut a couple of padlocks to get thru 2 rolling gates, as they appear to be closed on Saturday.
The truck parked on the left hand side of the white tractor had some bad luck just being where it was (that would be my truck, just in for a lube job). The green tractor to the right could have some blistered paint, too...man, that HAD to be hot.
