Update ds-2cd2432f-iw firmware

Hi all,

it's my first post here and my first ip cam.

I got a ds-2cd2432f-iw 08/2014 from China. On the label there's written v5.1.6_140612 and some other scripts in chinese.

Yesterday I was trying to configure and test it and the acustic alarm started to play and keep annoying. There's no attive alert with the acustic alarm on. Any ideas?

I think maybe is a problem of an early firmware and I would like to update it but I saw a lot of people having troubles in that. Would you be so nice to tell me what is latest firmware for my configuration and the procedure to follow to update?

Check for which exceptions the 'Audio Warning' is enabled / ticked under
Configuration | Basic Event | Exception | Exception type dropdown
Also the Other Alarm tab, for the PIR alarm.

Hi mate thanks for the help. I'didn't focus the dropdown comand in the exception menù allow to see other options. The alarm was ringing because of a misconfiguration of the NAS connession. I unticked that option and finally alarm stopped to hurt me Now I'm trying to set up nas connection .....
