Upgrading firmware when on other VLAN

For security purposes I've setup a VLAN for my cameras only. They are on the IP range of 192.168.200.x. I've read that to do a clean firmware update you should factory reset, then apply the update. However if I factory reset I won't be able to access the camera anymore because the default IP is 192.168.1.108. I'd have to reconfigure my network each time just so I can connect to it.

Anyone have any tips or shortcuts on how to do this more efficiently?

Is this a port-based VLAN or a tagged VLAN?
Is there a routing interface between the VLANS?

Depending on how it's implemented, the IP address is likely to be irrelevant.

Like @alastairstevenson wrote, depending on your setup and inter-vlan configuration, you might just be able to factory reset the camera and run dahua config tool on your pc, even with your pc on its original ip address. If you want to discover across vlans, you might have to open port 37810 intervlan, that helped me finding my dahua devices (a VTH touchscreen). Have a look in your firewall logs when config tool does not work.

Good luck!
