I'm cnsidering migrating from Synology Surveillance Station to a BI setup, but I can't figure out if BI will support my external PIR sensor.
My external PIR sensor is connected to a quite standard ADAM-6050 I/O module, which has a modbus interface, connected to my local LAN. In SS8, I can connect to this I/O module, and it is being polled for alarms.

Can BI do the same thing?

Yes, with a Sealevel Device: eI/O Ethernet to 4 Optically Isolated Inputs, 4 Form C Relay Outputs Digital Interface Adapter, with PoE (Item# eIO-120PoE)

Ok, so only by either changing out my I/O module, or by changing out my PIR's?

So what does this Sealevel Device do what my current I/O module cannot do?

[edit]
Right, I see an older post with a screenshot now, and see BI has a specific Sealevel configuration. This seems to be using the standard ModBus protocol however, so should work on other ModBus I/O modules as well I guess?
