Last night my wife and I were moving some furniture upstairs, while the kids were asleep, so we moved the baby gates from the stairs temporarily. Of course with anyone with kids knows you CAN NOT forget to put them back up. This really upset me because this morning right after I left for work my son (1.5yo) took a big fall down the stairs. My camera catches bits and pieces of motion but stops and starts in random times. I wanted to look back and see how bad my son's fall was but my camera didn't record it. BTW.... My wife is a Peds NP, she checked him out and he is OK! Thank God.

For Example:

You can see the time laps in these videos. Why would it not keep recording?

Here are my settings.

Glad to hear your Son is OK. I would de-select Object Detect/Reject. For me, most of the time it just causes problems. I think I would also increase the object sizing (more sensitive.)

As servicexp points out, deselect object detect/reject...also you may want to increase your break times to 20s...
