Viewing cameras on Blue Iris app when system is connected to satellite internet

This might have been already discussed, but am I able to view my cameras remotely on the blue iris app if the system is connected to satellite internet? Or what if my system is on a regular internet line and my phone is connected to a satellite WiFi signal at a diff location trying to remote view...

Probably not. Legacy satellites provide no public IP and additionally, recent satellites employ IPv6 addressing, neither compatible with conventional remote access methods.

That should work if the BI server at the "regular" Internet location (cable, DSL) has a public IP available on the WAN and either port forwarding (not suggested) or a VPN (suggested) is deployed.
