Thank you. I did try all the different D-Link cameras and none of them worked and the camera isn't ONVIF compliant.
I had a RTFM moment, went into the settings for the camera itself and found the RTSP configuration settings and now I have it working.

Just wondered what settings you used? I have a dcs-960l too and get video on the dlink 2130...7010h264 driver BUT NO AUDIO
Tried the rtsp port found in camera settings but doesn't help the audio
