I'm running a Win 10 box, fresh install, 10 Hik cameras of assorted 3 MP and 4 MP types.
I have been pushing the i7-4785T computer with 16 GB pretty hard.
BI/Task Manager generally report about 25% CPU usage and 3-4 GB of memory usage.
Today while fiddling with cloning one camera, I noticed that my CPU usage began increasing, until by the end of today, I was hitting 100%. Until the last few days it has been quite stable.
Running latest BI version. I noticed that Win10 crammed an update onto my machine on 5/14. So I decided to use the "restore point" function to back up to before that update. I had to repair the BI database.
Now BI seems to be running fine again.
So watch out!
Is there a way to keep Win10 from updating? If not, I'm going to have to abandon an expensive system that has taken months to assemble.
