Today I was going over some settings in blue iris and windows 10 OS to try to improve the performance of my blue iris server and lower the cpu usage. One of the settings required a restart so after i restarted and windows booted up windows asks me for a password which I had it before to where it wouldn't ask for one. So lucky me I forgot what it was. This is a local user account. Microsoft's answer is to reinstall windows. Theres some tutorials online that show how to get to it via the cmd line or using software to crack it. I tried one and it wants me to pay. And I couldn't manage to get to it via the cmd line. The account I need is named blue, but when typing net user it only lists Administrator and Guest.

Back online, I was able to regain access without any cracking software and changed the password without reinstalling the OS. Windows really pisses me off, I only use it for this blue iris server. It would really be nice if blue iris had a linux version.
