For sale is a 3 month old 8-channel POE Hikvision made (OEM) NVR. This is rated for cameras up to 5M pixel and for a total camera bandwidth of 40Mbps. Originally purchased from this seller on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hikvision-Made-8-Channel-NVR-with-8-Built-in-PoE-3rd-Party-IP-camera-Supported-/251295470428?

This NVR is closely related to the HV DS-7608E2-8P (the face plate differs). It is running the latest Hikvision OEM build firmware (Feb 2015) which has the POE Virtual Host (so you can connect to the cameras on the POE LAN directly) and the auto start Live View features. It has all the features of the HV FW release 3.0.10 but the OEM versions always seem to number their releases one step earlier.

You cannot load HV firmware on this NVR, it will only accept HV OEM FW, which is available through OEM dealers such as the eBay vendor, Nelly's, etc. However the current FW is excellent, I ran it with up to 7 DS-2CD2xx2 cameras (all that I had at the time) for over two months in full Hikvision protocol (not ONVIF). Never skipped a beat (once I realized you must use Video hard drives such as a WD purple and not regular everyday drives). This NVR is language region 1, meaning it is an English NVR and will never revert to Chinese. It will talk to any hacked language region 2 HV camera or any HV camera with language region 1. I have a mix of HV cameras with language region 1 and some with language region 2 that came from China hacked to English. If the HV camera is language region 2 and unhacked (still in Chinese) the NVR will complain of "language mismatch" unless you get an English hacked FW or change the language flag to 1 (MTD5/6 hack).

It works perfectly. Has the integrated POE switch. I ended up needing a 16-channel NVR as I realized I wanted better security coverage so I bought the 16-channel version. One thing I will warn any buyer of any HV NVR with integrated POE, the POE power supply has a fan and isn't bedroom quiet. You can hear the fan, not obnoxious, but more of an item I'd place in a closet, garage, attic, not a bedroom or study.

Below are the stats of this NVR. Some pictures, and a screen shot of the GUI so you can clearly see, this is a Hikvision interface. No harddrive is included. I've tested it with WD purple and I'm running that HD now in my 16-channel, Purple works great.

Price is $200 including shipping to anywhere in CONUS. My eBay userID is the same as my ipcamtalk ID if you want to check my feedback. I'm selling on this forum to hopefully avoid eBay fees.

Hadn't really thought about a trade. What model of camera do you have?

It's the mini dome from NELLYSECURITY I'll find the link in a bit. It's without a microphone. I don't have the accessories but it's never been mounted on anything. I've fiddled with it is all.

I'm going to lower the price to $175. If no takers I'll list it on eBay...
