Well, crap at least according to my needs. Just moved into our new house out here in the sticks. Had an old night owl system at our old place, which was far from satisfying to say the least. Since discovering this forum I've learned quite a bit, and have decided to order some Dahua stuff to get me started. Looking forward to being able to appreciate some better quality equipment. Thanks for the welcome. Just ordered a NVR4208-8P-4KS2 and a IPC-HDW5231R-ZE from Andy, will buy more cameras as the budget allows. With the move and unexpected custody of our two young grandkids plus going through the foster parenting process, we're a bit tapped financially at the moment. But this should get me started, and theses cameras seem to be well liked here. Pretty confident in the purchase at this point, thanks to the discussions here!
