Zuum IS-D4MP-IP-2.8-IR30-WH Possible Dahua rebrand?

Hi, I have a Zuum IS-D4MP-IP-2.8-IR30-WH and it appears to be a rebranded Dahua. Does anyone have experience with this model and installing Dahua firmware on Zuum branded cameras? I checked ebay and think it may be a IPC-HDBW1431E.

Indeed it does appear to be a Dahua OEM version..

Do you know if I try random Dahua firmwares would it possibly brick or just reject the firmware if it doesn't match?

We are a distributor and sell quite a bit of Zuum - they are 100% Dahua OEM , no issues either with flashing dahua firmware.

Other than the branding on the box all cameras shipped with unbranded firmware - I have upgraded a ton out in the field for our customers with zero issues using Dahua FW.

I’m using the current firmware that came with the camera and currently bench testing it before a permanent location of my choice. So far it’s great can view on chrome web GUI. I do like the fact that it has the metal body and is a lite series cam by comparison. Although it does get warm like the Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW plastic housing that I’m also using and immediately switch that cam over to Dahua firmware.

I'm using the latest Zuum "Firmware Update 200907" which is basically Dahua. The web GUI doesn't have the Dahua logo, but otherwise everything works as expected.

Old thread, but only one with related information I could find - anyone happen to know what Dahua model this is? I was hoping to find newer firmware than 2017 that's usable in something other than IE...

Firmware download file is D4MP-IP-3.6-IR20-WH_HAR2XXX[400]_HW1.00_Eng_N_V2.112.0.3.R.170526.bin

So I'm looking at both HX2X3X firmware and HX2XXX firmware for similar devices. These look close:

• N41BK22
• N51BI22/N51BI23

But also seems like it could be DH IPC-HX2XXX-Molec if I can find the right model? The confusing thing is it looks exactly like a DH-IPC-HDW44A1MN...
