Log into each cam's webGUI (one at a time) abd assign a unique, static IP to each cam in the same subnet as the NVR's LAN and outside of the router's (if any) DHCP pool.
Connect NVR's LAN port to the POE switch ("uplink" port if it has one) along with all of the cams.

Does your NVR also supply poe in addition to your switch? What it the model?

I haven’t heard truvision in a long time! You have all cameras to a switch, to a camera port on nvr?

So I have all cameras plugged into poe switch then about 1meter away the nvr one lead from poe switch plug into poe port nvr? Or should it go lan port

It should go to router.

POE CAM => POE SWITCH => ROUTER
NVR LAN => POE SWITCH

EDIT 5/22/24 @ 0602 CDT: Log into each cam's webGUI (one at a time) and assign a unique, static IP to each cam in the same subnet as the NVR's LAN and outside of the router's (if any) DHCP pool. Connect NVR's LAN port to the POE switch ("uplink" port if it has one) along with all of the cams.

Camera streams do not pass through the router to get to the NVR.
