Truvision nvr and switch

Log into each cam's webGUI (one at a time) abd assign a unique, static IP to each cam in the same subnet as the NVR's LAN and outside of the router's (if any) DHCP pool.
Connect NVR's LAN port to the POE switch ("uplink" port if it has one) along with all of the cams.

Does your NVR also supply poe in addition to your switch? What it the model?
So I have all cameras plugged into poe switch then about 1meter away the nvr one lead from poe switch plug into poe port nvr? Or should it go lan port
It should go to router.

That NVR provide its own subnet. What is the Model?
POE CAM => POE SWITCH => ROUTER
NVR LAN => POE SWITCH

Camera streams do not pass through the router to get to the NVR.

Is that a NVR1116S? if so, the NVR will assign a subnet that is different than that of the NVR . This video will explain what I am talking about? Interlogix TruVision IP & HD-TVI Programming Training (youtube.com)
