I'm going to get the foscam one and try it out. I appreciate all the help. I do have home assistance so I'll try to get it linked to that also. I haven't setup blue iris through homeassist yet.

Hopefully somebody that tried to foscam can commemt if they've successfully connected theirs. Or I could just try.

The power line adapter would be nice but I think very difficult to fit in that area.

Thanks for the replies. They currently have a alarm that is monitored 24/7. Does anyone have experience with Google,ring or any other system that they would recommend. It's more just to check in. Not for security. Thanks

Ok All my other cameras i have the same setting and they always switch, but I can try that. Should the firmware be upgrades anyway for safety?
