Annke Firmware to Hikvision Firmware: HOW TO

Well, ... i must have missed that in all of the pages :-). Per this thread - i've been trying to get substreams to work with no luck. Seemed everyone on this thread moved to HIK FW with good results. https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/good-deal-annke-180-degree-dual-1-1-8-for-220.66209/post-786786

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

OK... the factory reset thing i missed. I have now done that about 10x. It shows up in my router table, but has a conflicting IP with another HIK camera (that i've reserved that IP for already). Then it will suddenly reappear in SACD, and also have conflicting IP. I try to activeate (asks me...

Annke Firmware to Hikvision Firmware: HOW TO

well, despite thinking i read everything and did this correctly, looks like I may have bricked my Annke FDC600. starting with Annke FW: v5.7.10 build 230110 uploaded HIK v 5.7.11 for what appeared to be the same camera (DS-2CD2366G2P-ISU/SL ) Nothing after the reboot. Assume I'm dead in the...

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Mine matches your perfectly... and I changed the iframe rates as well. now it just comes on/off line in BI and still doesn't show the mainstream. I'm guessing this is becauase i'm running the annke FW? So I had another one of these that I purchased, and decided to try to update the FW on it...

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Right on! That worked. Weirdly it still doesn't look like i'm getting a mainstream now. I have both main and sub frame rates are 15, and the iframe rates for both are still at 50 (if that matters). And the camera in the BI dashboard keeps coming off/on line.

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Hey there.... realized I dont have this quite working yet. I don't have any drop down options in the stream profiles. Did you upgrade the FW to Hikavision or just keep it with annke? I did go into the Annke Camera settings and set up a user/pass for ONVIF and try reinstalling the camera...

Swapped out Hik with Annke FDC600 and now CPU running high

@wittaj ... thanks for advice. Saw that in the other thread, but Fenderman asked me to post here. I'll work through this... I did the optimizations, but it was years ago and I haven't looked back. @TonyR ... ugh. thanks. Hate when I miss that.

Swapped out Hik with Annke FDC600 and now CPU running high

hey all. I replaced an older Hikavision with an Annke FDC 600 in Blue Iris and it's working fine. the only thing is now my CPU is running super high after about 15 minutes from startup of the app. I have FPS set at 10 both at the camera and in BI, but it's still running high. Are you guys seeing...

What to do with extra cables on Annke when only need POE?

This particular model FDC600 has a weird oblong base... any recos on a junction box that might match it?

    Blue Iris UI3

@bp2008 ... thanks, i totally misunderstood this. when I tried it, it the PiP overlay box came up on top of the browser showing UI3, so I thought it "was inside" that browser instance, if that makes sense? Now I see you can actually drag it to anywhere on your screen. Handy and cool. Thanks.

    Blue Iris UI3

My search foo must suck, because I can't find a thing in the help files or online regarding the Picture-in-Picture feature in UI3. When i try it, i get the same picture in both frames. How do i set this up?

What to do with extra cables on Annke when only need POE?

i wondered if that works truthfully. It should but I assume you'd have to make sure there weren't any shorts/connections?

What to do with extra cables on Annke when only need POE?

Hey all. Trying a couple of the wide angle Annke cameras in my BI system... question for install. I only need the POE/LAN connection... and there is no room in the housing for all the other alternate connections. The instructions say to tape them up with waterproof tape and (i guess) just...

    Blue Iris Vlan on ubiquiti

Checking my learning here... :-) And you wouldn't use LAN OUT because it needs to talk to your VPN?

    Blue Iris Vlan on ubiquiti

OK.. thanks. Clearly i need to study more on those options as they don't quite make sense to me yet!

    Blue Iris Vlan on ubiquiti

Super helpful. @JNDATHP .... when you created the firewall rule, was it "wan in" or "lan in"? don't see that in your instructions and not sure i get the difference?

On Alert Web Request not Firing at Trigger

That kind of makes sense, as I have profile 1 (Home) selected, so it's not running the other alert. But i figured that since I've highlighted the Web alert, then hit the lightening bolt, it should only test that one...

On Alert Web Request not Firing at Trigger

I'm having a similar issue. I have an HTTP web request that used to fire perfectly on alert (and still works when i run it from a browser). But if i run a test on the alert, i see this message: Web: HTTP/1.0 200 OK Followed by this message: 1 action/s skipped based on active profile or...

that's it! Perfect... thanks so much. So did I misunderstand "make time"? Or is that just for the trigger, but not for the recording?

Video starts several seconds after motion detected

Been browsing the help files and forum, but quite can't figure out how to fix this or what setting I missed. My scenario is motion detected via a camera pointed at my front door. As a test, I walk out my door, count to five, and walk back in. I have it set to record when triggered, with the...

    Playback of image distorted?

Hi all. Weird one (to me) I can't seem to figure out. In live view, the camera image looks fine. Even in the preview clip on the clips pane it looks fine. but when I click to run (same on mobile, UI3 and in the app itself), I get this weird view. It's an Amcrest P/T camera hardwired, if that...

One (out of 4) Hikvision cameras doesn't work on Unifi USW-16

Shouldn't be that, as I moved it to a port where one of the other cameras was operating and it still didn't work.

One (out of 4) Hikvision cameras doesn't work on Unifi USW-16

Moved houses and took cameras with me. New setup is full Unifi, including a 150w USW-16. 3 of my POE hikvisions installed with no problem, but the 4th will not work. The switch supports 802.3af, which is listed on back of camera. Camera model: DS-2CD2042WD-I It will, however, work fine off...

Web attack on my BI Server???

Thanks Steven... sorry I wasn't more clear. I did setup the VPN and turn off all port forwarding. so now i'm curious what these other attacks are and if I can do something to thwart them? I could probably go to a router forum :-)… but since I started here, thought i'd followup.

Web attack on my BI Server???

thanks Fenderman…. appreciate the help there!!! as for "insist" on making errors... that is a bit rich. Ironically, IMO, forums are for help (like Fendermen provide), and not ridicule. At least that's why i belong to them... to learn from other experts.

    enable/disable camera with JSON command

Yep... you got it. I already have my other event set up similarly, so didn't want to but the PI for just this. (besides, Spud has enough of my money for other PIs :-) )
