I've poked around the camera interface, and can't see any way to mask an area from being included in Smart Motion Detection. Is this not possible, or not intuitive... or am I an idiot for missing it?

Cheers guys.

Most of us here do not use SMD because it still tends to issue lots of false triggers, so if it isn't working out well for you, then use the IVS rules. We have found that to be much more reliable.

My IVS game is so bad... I'm the king of false triggers. I might have to search out some 101 / ELI5 on getting it to work properly, because SMD is currently doing miles better than my IVS efforts.
