Hi,
I've been lurking for a while now and initially thought about the HIKVision 76xx NVR's, but am now thinking of a more entry level system.
The Hikvision DS-7108N-SN/P as the NVR. I initially thought that the 2MP limit on the streams would be a deal breaker, but thinking about it a full HD video should be enough for my needs.
All I want is to cover the front/side/garden with HIKVision turrets and probably a dome camera by the front door where we have a light on during the hours of darkness all the time. So just wanted to be sure that this would be good enough for my non pro requirements?
Also in case I wanted to add a camera using the internal LAN instead of the POE, for example in/on the Garage, then I assume this is possible though the LAN port on the NVR?
