I finally finished fixing up the front yard. Wish the stain I used on the fence wasn't so dark but anything is better than before!

@jd415, Nice restoration of your front yard. Here are some other thoughts that came to mind:

1. I like the stain color of the fence. It doesn't look too dark to me.
2. Since your front yard is fenced in (i.e. blocked from street view), I'd be tempted to put outdoor furniture there. It looks cozy. Of course, there's the issue of dealing with the furniture when cutting the grass.
3. My HOA would never approve of a fencing configuration like yours, especially in the front yard.

From trap house to legit crib! Stain looks good. Much better than the 'Ponderosa' colour stain I put on a deck a few years ago. Came out slightly pink!

So I have a question: Where do y'all buy that green grass stain by the barrel? And how do you keep it off the concrete? Asking for a friend.

@StevenFromTexas I had my gardener do the sod and I stained the fence. It was a real pain and took a while!

Looks great, I need to do my put more grass down this season. The weather here in houston has taken a toll on mine.
