I have been using Blue Iris for a while and have multiple installs, but I have encountered a use case that I have not previously seen. I have Blue Iris installed as a service, recording about 44 cameras. However, I need to watch the cameras in realtime as well. Watching them in realtime comes with a bunch of issues. The CPU overhead, the fact that the server isn't physically located in the same location, and the fact that the client doesn't want the users on the server, even with a restricted account. I'm not happy with UI3 for the solution either. So, my question is, what about using a second install of BI just to view the cameras on a separate box. I have a microPC already mounted on the monitor from a previous installation. How should I expect BI to perform on one of these small PCs for just viewing live video, but not recording anything?
