Ken told me yesterday "The website had some issues on Friday ... should be OK now."Still nothing from Blue Iris !!!
Well, that paste contains my full license key. I don't want to phone it across the internet. Shouldn't it be enough to insert the key as shown in the Options -> About tab?Go I to blue iris and click email support. Then go to Gmail or whatever email you have and paste the data. Then type your request after.
That is overly paranoid...it will be fine...you know the key is sent to you over the internet when you buy the software...Well, that paste contains my full license key. I don't want to phone it across the internet. Shouldn't it be enough to insert the key as shown in the Options -> About tab?
Sure, when buying this was obviously inevitable. But one time is enough. Overly paranoid? Please! These days you cannot be paranoid enough with internet things. That is overly paranoid...it will be fine...you know the key is sent to you over the internet when you buy the software...

I hate to tell you this but every time Blue Iris checks for an update it sends your reg key, name, and email address via plain unencrypted HTTP to blueirissoftware.com.Sure, when buying this was obviously inevitable. Thanks for the info. Okay, seems to be that I have to calm down and decrease my paranoia...I hate to tell you this but every time Blue Iris checks for an update it sends your reg key, name, and email address via plain unencrypted HTTP to blueirissoftware.com.
