Getting the hang of it
I'm installing 25 cameras (with potential for more in the future) at a location that is currently running 10/100mbps networking equipment.
I am using Ubiquiti POE switches and a 64CH HIkvision NVR. All of the cameras are 4MP except one that is 8MP.
To lower the bandwidth while not compromising too much quality (doesn't have to be 4k quality by any means), I'm asking for recommendations on camera configs. Most of these camera's will be recording continuous with a few exceptions on movement only. After plugging two camera in, I am seeing 12.9Mbps on the NVR Vlan.
