Hello,

The issue I am having is that I can login to my camera's onboard software remotely, but I can not see any video remotely.

So, I can get to the tools, setup information, but I am not able to see the video.

I have Port Forwarding on & enabled as you can see that I am getting to the onboard software, just not the video. I have a DDDns enabled and setup. Everything is working just fine, just no video.
If I use a third party software, then the video comes through, but just by accessing it through a URl, no luck.

1) When you say "...I can login to my camera's onboard software remotely, but I can not see any video remotely" do you mean outside of your home network ? (accepted terms: home = LAN or 'local'; outside = WAN or 'remote').

2) Cam brand & model?

3) "I have Port Forwarding on & enabled" ... What port(s) are forwarded?

This is what I see locally using the IP camera built in software. No video, nothing. But if I use a third party software like Easy N / Multi WIndow I can view everything just fine.

When I view from work, this is what I see.

Here is the info from the IP Camera. It's Easy N

Here are the Ports Forward information

Let me know if there is any additional information you need.

Sometimes these cams need more than one port forwarded to use the http interface, the http port and the rtsp port...note that forwarding the ports like this is a huge security risk.

Do you have a suggestion as to how I can accomplish this, without the port forwarding?

watch out to if you have a adblocking software like adguard this will happen to you if you have adguard on certian cameras like dericam you will not see any video until you completly close adguard i found this out a long time ago
