I have enabled HTTPS on my IPC-HDW5231R-Z turrets. I didn't see a way to upload my own SSL cert to the cams. Am I overlooking something or am I out of luck?
And, before anyone points out the relatively low benefit of doing this... I'm not port forwarding, everything is behind an IPSec VPN, and my IOT devices are firewalled off in on an internal IOT network zone. I realize the negligent security value this would add. It is more about eliminating the increasingly annoying whining by modern browsers around self-signed certs, broken or weak ciphers, etc. I have an internal certificate authority that is trusted by all browsers in the house. So if I can replace the certs with my own, I would prefer to.
