Client of mine has the above NVR in his business. He can view the cameras on his phone when he is outside but cannot when he is in his home. WiFi works fine in his home.

I did not install this, just trying to help him out.

This is an old dvr. It is no longer supported for security updates. It is therefore much more vulnerable than the new units that themselves are vulnerable and should never be exposed to the internet. All port forwarding and upnp (on both device and router) should be turned off and he should be using a vpn to access the network. See wiki on securing your network
