These lens is exellent for starlight. My calculation show, that focal length is 3, not 4mm. I use 2 method, pure geometric calculation knowing dimension of 1/3 sensor (IMX225 is 4.8 wide, width of the target area 380cm at distance 234cm), and with these web page Lens Focal Length Calculator
Apperture is unbeliveable 1:1.1. You can check my calculation with these picture
which show entry side apperture of varifocal 2.8 to 12mm set to 2.8 and our lens and ruler. Magnify picture so that 1cm on ruler is 10cm on monitor.....
My calculation show, that our lens hav 3 times biger apperture area.
Because of thatfull moon picture is exelent
Video settings: AGC 51, Slow Shuter at Low which mean 7f/s at 720p.
