HIKVISION DS-HD1 Wi-Fi Video Doorbell install

I purchased two DS-DH1 doorbells, installed per instructions. After powering on the first doorbell, I get a solid red light that blinks after five seconds. As the existing doorbell has an electronic chime, I didn't install the power kit.

I figured maybe the unit was powering on, updating or conditioning the power line... left it as is.

Turned power back off and installed second unit... On this unit, I get a fast red light blinking and the Doorbell unit chime goes on an off in the house. Disconnected 2nd unit.

Any ideas on what issue could be? All my connections are good.

If each video doorbell calls for a 16-~24 VAC transformer and the Chime unit calls for a 16 volt AC, 10 watt or 16 volt AC, 15 watt transformer.... What would be large enough to support all three?
