I have been frustrated with finding the right setting to get my PTZ camera to hold, or "loiter", at a preset position triggered by my trigger cam, but I found it.
In the PTZ camera's settings, in the PTZ/Control tab, "Resume cycle/schedule after inactivity (sec)" , is what appears to control the loiter time when directed to a preset by the trigger cam. I played with different time intervals and it correlates very well. The Max Travel Time had no effect on loiter time. When the number of seconds has expired the PTZ returns to my preset 1, which I have enabled and defined as the default function in the PTZ camera's Schedule, Events Schedule, for all profiles. It is just one line with a single time.
