I came across this recently after a re-installation and so thought I'd share the solution. This is for people using Blue Iris with dual LAN's.

The situation arises where you find you cannot access the Blue Iris Web Server from devices on your LAN.

On closer inspection, it appears if you check the IP Address offered by the BI Web server, that BI has attached itself to your camera LAN card and not your home / business network LAN card. What you find is you are unable to alter the IP address in the BI Web Server Page but BI is unobtainable remotely on LAN as it's ip address (the IP address of the 2nd LAN card is on another network) ie for example: LAN Card 2 (Cameras) might be on 192.168.11.22 and LAN Card 1 and the Blue Iris Web Server might be on 192.168.55.33. Obviously .11 and .55 can't talk to each other.

The solution is simple but not immediately obvious.

In Windows, close Blue Iris and then open the Control Panel (search in the task bar if hidden (win 10 / 11)) and select Networking. Here you should see both LAN adapters. Right click over the one attached to the camera side (.11 in this example) and select disable. Go back and start Blue Iris. Go to the Web Server page. The Address should now have changed to the Network LAN (.55 in this example) as it's the only one available. Select Bind exclusively.

Go back to the Control Panel > Networking and you'll no longer be able to see the camera Network LAN adapter. However, on the left hand side, click Change Adapter Settings and it should show. Right cllick over the disabled LAN Card and Click Enable. From here go back into Blue Iris to the Web Server Page and the network Server Address should have remained on the Home Network LAN Card. Un-click Bind Exclusively, apply and exit.

The Web Server Address should now remain on the correct LAN Home / Business LAN Adapter and Blue Iris should now be contactable via other devices on the LAN by entering the web servers LAN address into the device.

If you want non pass worded access eg because passwords are difficult to type using tv remote keypads then look in your user accounts. You should have set up a 2nd user account before trying to set up remote access as you don't normally want someone having remote admin rights except via a VPN service from an external address. You can set one up now if not - go to User Accounts in the BI Settings. In the advanced settings of the user account you have set up, change the password requirements to non-lan only. In the main account page, I suggest unless using this account for external access, you un-tick admin privileges as this then protects your BI server from being altered by anyone gaining access to your wider LAN network or a friend or relative making setting changes from one of your LAN devices. Hence why it's wise to set up a 2nd account for LAN access. That latter also allows you to log or alert on LAN access.
