Soon after Amazon (AMZN) chairman Jeff Bezos returned to Earth from space on Tuesday, the billionaire received sharp criticism from progressive Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
Donna Howard: "We need to follow the science here."
TonyR: "True and according to that same science, you were most likely born brainless and in an attempt to achieve some form of identity declared yourself a Democrat. What's truly amazing to me is that after all those years you STILL have not developed a brain."
There's an occasional liberal that checks in with the then-current narrative only to get drown out with facts and logic. There have also been a few liberal trolls who didn't get fed very well and starved or moved on to greener pastures. I don't think the majority participation on the forum is a republican thing, per se, but rather people who tend to take on responsibility for themselves, and people with that trait tend to be politically conservative.
I wouldn't say I am liberal, probably more left leaning moderate. Maybe would say liberal to sociocultural issues. I would say surveillance (from what I can tell) a lot of times seems to seem that way but I think it depends on the area/state. I will say that the majority of people I work with in my industry (Software Development) sit along the same lines (We are in Kentucky, so obviously a heavy "Red" area).
That being said, I think (from what i've seen) it sort of comes with age (at least for me). You start to become a little more conservative as you get older (typically) and even though I respect the police and everything (I have 2 cops that live actually right on my street) I also know that if someone is breaking into my home then the closest defense is going to be what is immediately around me (IE: Me, or at least my cameras to hopefully deter).

I switched to Independent (NPA) back in January. It’s never been a “Republican” thing for me, or even a “Trump” thing. Trump merely happened to represent many of the core values I agree with. Duty, Honor, Country, Family, and the concepts of American exceptionalism and personal responsibility.
I guess we all age a little differently, too. I was Democratically oriented until I was a high school freshman. Back then Civics class was a thing and it started to open my eyes. That got me started watching our local, town, politicians who were all Democrats. By the time I was a sophomore I was leaning Republican. Age has made me even more Conservative and Libertarian. I now see that the Democratic party has morphed to Marxism and Socialism which is totally contrary to what has made our Country great and allows them to espouse BS like that. The thing that gets me is that they don't realize that if they achieve that wonderful "utopia" they promise, because it will surely succeed this time if "they" do it, they'll lose all the rights that let them even try to do it. Can we all say useful idiots together?
More so mental depravity over liberal hypocrisy. But hypocrisy for the party who says they are the party for human rights. Reminder; a heartbeat is medically detected within the first week. But my feeling is that it is a living, growing, human being upon conception.
For liberals human rights are nil for a human in the womb. And they expect me to pay for killing that human being.
I post this here because she is one of the most vile, disgusting, hate-filled hypocrites I can think of. I always say, 'Good things happen to good people.' She is NOT a good person. I watched my mother die from lung cancer, I wish this on no one, to include this vile creature (well maybe Jane Fonda). I am sorry she has it, and I hope she recovers from it and possibly learns a thing or two about life. However, I have my doubts...she is a disgusting 'human being'. I don't even like calling her that.
