I was wondering if someone could explain the boot sequence for the DS-2CD2032 camera, long story short:
* I already have a DS-2CD2032-I camera running: V5.2.5build141201 and it works great.
* Had a Swann SW0-SVC02K that I attempted to upgrade to V5.3.0 with very little research …
* At the moment I can load a new digicap.dav with the hikvision tftp server, but the camera never reboots.
* If I manually reboot it, it seems to ignore the upgrade and needs to be connected tftp server again.
* When it is connected to the tftp server I can telnet to the camera.
* If I run initrun.sh, I get errors, e.g. “mv can not be found, tar can not be found, insmod can not be found” ………
* If I run davinci manually I get errors but it shows in the Hikvision GUI as DS-2CD-Min-System V4.0.8 build140610
I have tried numerous things to recover however it would seem as if digicap.dav is not being executed on reboot.
If I can understand the boot / upgrade procedure it may help me track down the problem.
Any suggestions appreciated.
