That camera location covers a critical area and that is why I went for it. I have given the police department and neighbors more video from that camera than any of the others. Hopefully this new 4K camera will give even more detail day and night.

I never actually placed an order as I am still playing with a 6 series PTZ and quite like it but in the situation we all are at the moment and self isolating I might just treat myself again to this one as it looks very promising on paper. I also think the supplier can get this stock now from China. My trade supplier here in the UK can order this camera specially in for me but I would loose my 3 year warranty and next day return to base.
China supplier is ALWAYS cheaper but I have found anything that goes Pete tong is a nightmare where here in UK Next Working day and a new camera would be on my doorstep no questions asked from the biggest Dahua dealer here in the UK.
That camera would cost me around £750 here in UK but would loose the warranty but still get the full support

Wishful thinking, from the spec I would say look at the IPC-B5442T-ASE but with a 25x zoom. I've been looking into camera's that have the new Sony IMX327 sensor which looks amazing at night and have a few on the way to me as we speak for testing.
